Terms of use

Grit & GF (“we”) runs www.gritandgf.com. Questions, refunds and anything else: support@gritandgf.com. Using the site means you accept these terms and our privacy policy.

Grit & GF publishes hockey statistics, model probabilities and comparisons with betting markets for information and entertainment. We don't take bets, run contests for money or hold anyone's funds, and nothing here is betting or financial advice or a promise of any result. You must be 21 or older, or the legal betting age where you live if that is higher, to use the betting tools, and following the laws where you are is on you.

You sign in with your email; we send a link instead of keeping a password. Anyone who can read your inbox can sign in as you, so keep it secure. One person per account: don't share access to Pro or republish the Pro board or picks. We can suspend an account that does, or that scrapes or abuses the site, and we'll tell you why.

The day pass ($11) gives Pro for 24 hours from the moment you pay. The week pass ($49) gives 7 days. Neither renews. Monthly ($99 a month) renews automatically each month until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account page; you keep Pro to the end of the month you've paid for. If the monthly price changes, we'll email you at least 30 days before the renewal it affects.

Payment runs through Stripe. Depending on where you are, Stripe may process the sale and collect any sales tax. We never see or store your card number.

Passes are used up as they run, so they aren't refundable once started, and monthly periods aren't refunded part way. Exceptions: if you were charged in error or twice, or if the site was down for most of a pass you paid for, write to support@gritandgf.com within 14 days and we'll refund it. Anything the law in your place entitles you to, you get.

You may read, screenshot and quote short excerpts with credit. You may not scrape, bulk-download or resell the site's data or model outputs, use them to train machine-learning models, or use them in a commercial betting or fantasy product without a written licence. Underlying NHL data belongs to its owners; the metrics and models built on it are ours.

Everything is provided as is. Models are wrong some of the time, data feeds fail and lines move. Never bet more than you can afford to lose; problem gambling help is at 1-800-GAMBLER. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for betting losses or indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the three months before the claim.

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and paying members get an email about anything that affects them materially. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and disputes go to the state or federal courts located in New York, except where the law where you live says otherwise.
